Air Chair - Jasper Morrison

In developing the now ubiquitous Air Chair, Jasper Morrison achieved several feats. He made a fun, playful, light weight stack chair that could withstand the rigors of mother nature and the pounding of american consumers. By using a hybrid composition of abs plastic and fiberglass, he achieved a breakthrough in structural durability that won a revered CATAS award for strength innovation. And yet, what is most noted today is an understated design sensability that brightens any space.
